Diana Charsley grew up on a farm in Mashonaland and went to school in Harare, but has lived most of her life in Bulawayo. While she enjoys cooking and walking the dogs, the highlight of her week is practicing with the youth orchestra as a novice clarinettist.

Being a late starter, she recently discovered the challenge of writing and though she would like to write more, God, government and grandchildren have other ideas. God, government and grandchildren have other ideas. Diana was published in Laughing Now (2007).
