Chirere, Memory
MEMORY CHIREREenjoys reading and writing short stories and some of his are published in No More PlasticBalls (1999), A Roof to Repair (2000), Writing Still (2003) and Creatures Great and Small (2005). He has recently published two short story books: Somewhere in This Country (2006) and Tudikidiki (2007). Together with Professor Maurice Vambe, he compiled and edited Charles Mungoshi: A Critical Reader. He also has a chapter in Reading Marechera, ‘Revisiting “The Servants' Ball”’He is with the University of Zimbabwe where he lectures in literature.
